INDUSTRIAL & MANUFACTURING, TOKYO
ASK ME ABOUT
Arnold Schwarzenegger, cycling from Tokyo to Fukuoka in ten days, or why I sometimes look at the sun.
AND FOR THE REST OF THE STORY
Out of Northern France comes our Northern Frenchman – by way of Paris, of course, where all sensible Frenchmen go to complete their education. In a parallel universe, Adrien is an explorer, so it’s no surprise he felt a longstanding curiosity about the Rising Sun and right at home as soon as he touched down here. From his background as a chemical industry sales engineer in the old country, he stepped into the foreground of life as a specialized recruiter here in Tokyo without a hitch, and after seven years of working in his niche market he felt more than ready to take it over. Which he did. That brought him to Zensho Agency because, as he says, “I believe in freedom of time and location. And trust.” Inspired as much by the genius of Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos as by the adventure spirit of Sarah Marquis and Mike Horn, Adrien is constantly packing his days with business or packing for the great outdoors. Often both at once. His most recent “hobby” is managing two AirB&B listings in Asakusa. Colleagues attest to the fact that this guy never misses an opportunity: no wonder we get along so well.
