ASK ME ABOUT
The relaxing sound of live air traffic control chatter, how it feels to be both an expert and a beginner at the same thing, or what I do without fail every day.
AND FOR THE REST OF THE STORY
In both the literal and figurative sense, Dennis is a flyer. An ace pilot who, if he weren’t also an ace recruiter, you might expect to see painting the skies with contrails. Instead, he paints the executive search world with his passion for success. Indeed, his near-death experience in a plane crash gave him a deeper appreciation for life in general, and the three people he loves most – his wife and daughters – in particular. Born in the Philippines and raised in the US, Dennis didn’t even know he was Japanese until the age of twenty-five, and that discovery ultimately sparked a desire to move here and find his roots. Yet, his flight path to Tokyo was anything but direct. Having braved the ganglands of San Diego for several years, he was relieved when his parents, fearing for his safety, sent him off to a Connecticut boarding school. There was little to do but study, and Dennis credits that desolate environment with empowering him to enter the prestigious Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide down in Daytona, Florida. From purgatory to paradise, and he soon found himself soaring through bright clouds above the Sunshine State. Now a world-class veteran in his practice area, Dennis is delighted to have come on at Zensho Agency, where, he says, “instead of a wannabe rule book, there’s 100% transparency, trust, and loyalty.” We’re all in for him, too. Keep an eye on the recruitment skies: this guy’s tank is bottomless and he won’t be landing anytime soon.
