ASK ME ABOUT
Bread-watching as meditation, how to buy your own island, or the time I survived a hold-up in Manila by pretending my pack of gum was a gun.
AND FOR THE REST OF THE STORY
If you think environment has nothing to do with character, think again. Jen grew up on the coastal island of Bacacay in southeastern Luzon, where she awoke every morning to the awesome sight of Mayon, the most active volcano in the Philippines. She is herself an absolute fireball of energy, a quality that powered her through many successful years as a radio host, field reporter and voice talent for serialized dramas. Shifting her career to sales brought Jen one step closer to her ideal work life, but it wasn’t until her bold move to Japan and recruitment that she felt she had arrived in full. And who else but us could possibly accommodate an independent businesswoman with the power of magma in her blood? “The Agency has the culture I was looking for,” she says. “Brilliant, disciplined people who respect one another. It’s a place where I can be myself, enjoy my job, and live life to the fullest.” And how much fuller our lives are since Jen came aboard, bringing with her an endless supply of dynamism, grit and…call it sunshine, if you like. We just love how she lights things up.
